What Is The Blue Exorcist?

Firstly, this is a Japanese dark fantasy anime TV series. All we know is that the Japanese are good at delivering unique but beautiful cartoon series with attractive storylines. Blue Exorcist is one of these.

It made its first debut on April 4, 2009. Since that time, this TV series has created hype. As a result, we get Blue Exorcist season 2.

To make this season perfect, it takes almost 6 years. Can you believe it? Yes, it’s true indeed. A-1 pictures knew this show was going to be a hit. So, they start to make another season of Blue Exorcist.

The storyline of Blue Exorcist:

Before we discuss season 2 of Blue exorcist, you must know about the 1st installment of this series. This is the story of Rin Okumura. You’ll see another character called Shiro (an exorcist). This person raised the lead character Rin and his twin brother Yukio.

As the story goes, both of them discover they are not normal. They’re the descendants of Santa himself. Rin alhas a sword named Kurikara. This sword holds Rin’s demonic power.

After that time, Rin starts to transform physically. He got fangs and a tail. Another power he got and that is light into blue flames. This flame can damage everything if Rin touches it.

Rin doesn’t want to be a Satan. He makes his guardian an idol to become more powerful. Such power can destroy Satan. For that, he got admission to the True Cross academy.

This school is a prestigious institution for exorcists. It’s a part of the True Cross Order. To defend the human realm from the demonic realm, this order was made.

On the other hand, Yukio is a skilled exorcist and he is the coach of Rin. To become an exorcist, he starts to learn the lesson from Yukio. This anime series draws a clear line between their heroes and villains.

This is the trigger point, where we become fans of Blue exorcist. On top of that, the dark theme and fearless action scenes make the series more addictive to us.

Blue Exorcist Season 2: Is There Any Differences?

Most of the fans of Blue exorcist thought that there will be a dramatic change in the storyline. But it’s not true at all. Without watching the first season, it’s hard to get what’s going on in the second season. It’s confusing to new audiences.

The second season starts from where the first season is left. In episode no 17, we saw Amazon attack the group. At that time, Rin comes and shows off the blue flame. We saw everything in the second season as a flashback.

You may ask yourself, what’s happening there? So, the best suggestion is to watch the first season before starting to watch the second season. The previous season has an ambiguous ending. But the ending was full of twists and cheerful.

In season 2, there are lots of things that were solved, especially issues between the characters in the previous season. From episode 17, the story completely evaporated. We found Yukio, and he is no longer a demon. But a friend of Rin acts weirdly knowing that Rin is the son of Satan.

We experienced a bitter taste when some characters disappeared from season 2. Season 2 is a better resolution between characters. If you understand the manga storyline and stick with it, then season 2 is for you.

The storyline of season 2 is great. The fans were impressed with the 1st episode. The story begins with the impure King and the training trip to Kyoto arranged by the cram school.

Honestly, every episode will give you an invisible force to watch what will happen next. After the 3 episodes, Blue Exorcist starts to get its natural flow that will continue with the 3rd episode.
