  • First of all press Windows Key +I. This command will open the setting option and find out the Update & Security option from the window. Now click on it.

You must get the latest version of your Windows 10. If you still don’t get it, then click on the ‘Check for updates’ button. You may need to do it manually. After getting the latest update option, install it. To find out the taskbar is hidden or not you need to restart the system. Now, turn on full-screen mode. I hope you fixed the problem.

Using Keyboard shortcut

This method is for the quick solution to fix the taskbar and not hiding issues. It’s not only simple but also easy for everyone.  F11 is the key that you need to use for this method. Pressing this key will open the current app in full-screen mode. This method also hides the taskbar instantly. Some keyboards will not support F11 directly. Fn+11 should be the alternative you should apply.

Restarting Windows Explorer

This is another effective method which also needs less time to solve the taskbar not hiding problem. 

  • For that, you need to right-click on the taskbar. CTRL+SHIFT+ESC also applicable for the configuration.

  • Now start to scroll. You’ll find the apps column. As the last option, you will find the Windows explorer. Right-click on it and restart it.
