There are several key factors to know that can make or break your startup. Handling your money, employees and online presence all come into play. These are equally important and you want to be able to easily access them all. I have compiled a list of a couple apps that can really help your brand new startup come to life nice and easy. Let’s all make more money in 2018.

1. PayPal

PayPal is an extremely huge and resourceful asset to any type of business. When you start up a business, it’s obvious that a nice amount of money is what you’re hoping to achieve. If you want your business to go far, if you have not already, it would be a good idea to start up a website for your company and take your business online. Someone out of state or even out of your country might want to purchase your products. Well, if you’re solely committed to hand-delivering your products, you are obviously not going to get cash, so how will you collect the hard earned money that you deserve? Well, that is where PayPal comes in. It is super easy to set up, and the money will go straight to your bank. All you need is an email address and either your card or bank information. PayPal is a trusted source, and almost every single place in the United States of America has it. PayPal has been around for almost forever and they even have two different types of plans, personal and business.

2. Skype

Skype is the original go-to of all time for all different types of video calls. If you haven’t been living under a huge rock for your entire life, you have probably heard of Skype. It is kind of like Apple’s Facetime, but you can use Skype with an android as well as Apple. With that being said, if you don’t own a phone or your phone is unavailable for downloading any apps, you can use your computer. Even without a computer, you could go to the library or a friend’s house and still be able to communicate with your colleagues.

3. Facebook

Facebook is a huge asset to many businesses. Facebook is one of the hugest and most successful social media platforms. All businesses will need a large social media presence to make it out here in this huge world. This world is so large and big that no one is going to hear about your startup if you don’t make a loud bang. Facebook is the perfect place to voice yourself. Facebook has an outreach of millions of people from all over the world. This is a great platform to use for promoting your business, as long as you stay consistent with your posts.

4. Slack

Slack is another great app for your startup companies. With the Slack application, you can contact your employees or co-workers without risking your personal information. Ths awesome cloud-based app makes it easy to call different people on your team. In fact with two of their three plans, you can even call up to 15 people all at just one time! Another cool feature and opportunity that Slack offers are how you are allowed to have up to five gigs for free. With their other two plans, you can get up to 20 gigs per team member. If you have about 5 team members that are literally 100 gigs of data being stored. Their three plans are basic, standard and plus. Every one of these plans has great benefits, but the plus has the most. These different plans are really meant for whatever stage your business is at. You can check them out at www.slack.com.

5. PicMonkey

PicMonkey is an incredible app. It has been around for a very long time. In fact, almost every successful Youtuber has used Picmonkey at least once, and many more are addicted after giving it the first try. What this application does is edit. PicMonkey edits photos and gets you that professional look for not one extra penny. You can create graphics and make cool business cards and post them on either your company’s website or social media. You can also publish your image on both platforms. This is a good way to be perceived as professional and can bring more eyes, along with customers, to your business or company.
